Whether you’re from overseas, interstate or just exploring your backyard, we would like to sincerely welcome you to Albany and the beautiful Great Southern Region of Western Australia.
The Beach House at Bayside has been operating as a family-run hosted accommodation business since 2002, and we strive to create guest focussed experience - creating a home away from home environment for all travellers while ensuring you have all the privacy and quiet you crave in this busy world.

The below compendium of guest information is a reference to make your stay smooth, comfortable, welcoming and easy. Remember – this is a hosted accommodation experience, and we are here in person or by phone to assist in any way to make your stay more enjoyable. The first items cover off the most important and regularly needed information but continues to scroll for an A-Z for further information about the property, your experience and the local area.

We are dedicated to help, so please don’t hesitate to contact us if you have any queries. We live on site so you will often see us around the property throughout the day and evening, but should we not be in sight you can contact us via your guest phone on “9” or 9844 8844, or via the courtesy phone on the reception desk.

Beach
We suggest you enjoy a walk along beautiful Middleton Bay and the views of the departure point of the first Anzacs - King George Sound - around 150m from the property.  Just walk either left or right from the front of the building and the road joins a walking path running through the dunes of the beach. Access tracks across the dunes are around 150m to the left or right along the path. 
If you chose the right option (Dillion Close) access sand tracks across the dunes is just in front of you to the right … or if you take the left hand option from the hotel your beach access with be around 150m to the left (Griffith Street) or right along the path. 
 

Breakfast
Breakfast is served in the Dining Room from 7.30am – 9.30am each day and everything on offer is included in your stay. We’ll cater to your special requirements so please let us know any dietary requirements (and your holiday favourites!)
 

Daily Servicing
As the world changes and we value the environment and our privacy more we are taking the lead from you regarding the servicing of your room each day. Please use the signs on your door to direct - “Please service” or “No service” each day. Should you just need a top up of any supplies we’re happy to help via Reception.

Keys
Your key tag slots into the white notch next to your door to activate electricity – please ensure it is full inserted for all power to activate

Your key is not required to lock your door, please just depress the button on the inside of the lock.
We lock communal areas any time after 9pm. Your green key give you access via the front door, rear lounge door and rear Colonnade Wing door. If locked please relock – many thanks.
 

Treats
Complimentary water and fresh milk are in your in-room fridge and please help yourselves to Wignalls port and chocolates served in the Reception Lounge room with our compliments. We’ll deliver a sweet treat each afternoon
 

TV
A range of primary and secondary free local channels are available. Press "Guide" button for information regarding scheduling and for quick navigation to your chosen channel.

For steaming services, use your personal login to use your chosen streaming service – if you do not have any accounts and would like to access more content than the FreeTV allows, contact reception who can assist with a login for Netflix.
